Botham Vineyards

Nestled in the heart of Wisconsin's Iowa County Uplands amid lush, rolling hills, not far from Spring Green, Mineral Point, Mt. Horeb, Dodgeville and Blue Mounds is the Botham Vineyards and Winery.

Established in 1989, this 15-acre vineyard is rich in Iowa County history and true Wisconsin culture. Take a walking tour of the vineyard then return to the big, red, circa-1900 "hung" barn which houses the gallery and gift shop. Here, tastings of our distinctive regional wines, crafted by vintner Peter Botham, are offered daily during regular seasonal hours. 8180 Langberry Road, Barneveld (608) 924-1412  www.bothamvineyards.com

Cave of the Mounds

Since it’s accidental discovery more than 60 years ago visitors have been awed by this natural geologic wonder. Guided tours on paved, lighted walkways lead visitors past an unforgettable array of crystal formations. The constant temperature in the cave makes touring comfortable all year round.  2975 Cave of the Mounds Rd, Blue Mounds (608) 437-3038     www.caveofthemounds.com

 Little Norway

Nestled in a beautiful valley twenty miles west of Madison, hidden in the foothills of Blue Mounds WI. is a charming and unique outdoor museum known as Little Norway. It has another, more romantic name which suggests more vividly the sense of magic that pervades this lovely valley: Nissedahle, or Valley of the Elves. 3576 Cty Rd JG North,  Blue Mounds, (608) 437-8211     www.littlenorway.com

 Mount Horeb Mustard Museum

The Museum itself is home of the world's largest collection of prepared mustards - over 4,400 jars, bottles, and tubes from all 50 states and more than 60 countries. When you are in Wisconsin, plan a stop in Mount Horeb to see us. You'll enjoy our Museum Gallery, French's Mustard Piece Theater, and of course sampling hundreds of our mustards and sauces with the assistance of one of our Confidential Condiment Counselors. And of course you'll find lots of fun gifts and souvenirs from good 'ol POUPON U, America's Mustard College.  100 W. Main Street, Mount Horeb, (608) 437-3986  www.mustardmuseum.com

 The Trollway

Known as “Troll Capital of the World,” Mount Horeb’s Main Street is lined with life-size mythical creatures.  Carved out of the trunks of trees by sculptor Michael Feeney, the trolls guide visitors through the historic village of Mount Horeb, often pointing to places to shop, eat and relax.  Group guided tours are available.  Click here to take a map to the trolls.

 Trollway Shops

Mount Horeb’s Main Street is a center of activity where you’ll find specialty shops, antique shops, including four large antique malls with over 100 individual dealers and great food!   A majority of the Trollway shops are open from 10 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. seven days a week year around.

Corn Maze in Lodi

This year's maze is in the cat and the fiddle, with friends the cow, the moon, the little dog and the very challenging dish and spoon labyrinth. Enjoy a unique experience-find your way through our 10-acre cornfield maze with over 3 miles of twists, turns and dead ends. Challenge yourself, your friends and family members to solve the maze and find all the clues in this mind-boggling living puzzle. There's a special prize for those persistent enough to find ALL the secret locations in the maze. In October, you can also take a horse drawn wagon ride through the beautiful Wisconsin countryside to the pumpkin patch. Relax in the picnic area or watch the geese on the pond while the kids play and visit the farm animals. Don't miss the GIANT SLINGSHOT!!
