          FIRST YEAR ANNIVERSARY

          We have just celebrated our first year of owning the Victorian Treasure Inn! 

The official date we became owners was March 31, 2003 at 3pm.  This has been a wonderful experience and we are excited about the upcoming year!  We have different events planned this year for you to enjoy and be a part of.  To celebrate our first year of innkeeping, we have created an Anniversary Special just for those who receive this newsletter!   We look forward to seeing you again in 2004!

APRIL SPECIAL

The April special posted on the website is 'Spring Fling'  If you stay a Weekend (Friday and Saturday), you will receive 50% off a Thursday or Sunday added to your reservation.  Click here for details

ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL

Book your 2004 getaways during the month of April and receive 5% off the entire lodging bill.  All you need to do is call the Inn or book online to receive this special offer.  Valid for  reservations made April 1 - April 30.  Not valid for any Holidays.  You must mention this special or insert "ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL" under Special Requests when booking online.  Cannot be  combined with any other offers or specials.  Click here to make your reservations

GARDENS UPDATE

Watch for  changes to the Gardens on your next visit.  We will be adding some additional outdoor furniture in the gardens.  Also, last fall and this spring, over 125 new bulbs have been planted to enhance the gardens.  You will notice some other changes coming in the next couple of months.  One change will be a small patio to be built behind the Hutson House.  If you enjoy reading with a view of the gardens or of the slow pace of a small town, you will find ample places to sit and relax.

LODI FERRY TO BE RUNNING SOON!

For those of you who enjoy riding on the car ferry between Lodi and Merrimac, it was announced the Ferry will be open May 3rd.  Some new improvements have been made on the Merrimac side of the river.  Some of you who visited last summer found the Ferry closed at times.  The new Ferry was launched last May and did have some mechanical problems over the summer.  The State of Wisconsin has spent over $250,000 correcting some of the mechanical issues.  The State is expecting the Ferry to run smoothly this year.  Hurray!!!!

VICTORIAN TREASURE WEBSITE WINS AWARD

The Victorian Treasure website was named winner of the Best Bed and Breakfast website in the United States by Travel Marketing Center!  If you have not visited the new revised website, please do so.  You will find pages of new information regarding things to do in and around Lodi, plus links to the websites of the major activities and attractions in the area.  Click here to read about award
