Citizen of the Year
 

The Lodi Chamber of Commerce proudly announces George Robson as the 2006 Citizen of the Year. George was received into the ministry of the United Methodist Church in 1952. He is 'officially' retired but continues to participate as a part-time pastor of the Lodi United Methodist Church. His other contributions include: United Methodist Church, Optimist Club, past president of Optimist Club, Clergy Association, treasurer of Ministerial Emergency Fund, Crop Walk, and treasurer for the Coalition for Wisconsin Health - working for universal health care.

Winter Wonderland
 

New Discoveries Art & Frame Gallery and Susie's Baskets and Blooms announce the beginning of Winter Wonderland at their shop. The gallery (located at 160 S. Main St., Lodi)is filled with decorated trees and holiday cheer. You will find artistic gifts throughout the store: angels, nativities, Christmas cards, candles, mugs, gift baskets, ornaments, journals, children's art kits, and silk floral accents. Two artists - One Location! Hours: Monday through Friday - 10 am to 6 pm, Saturday 10 am to 3 pm.

Holiday Open House - 'Christmas by the Creek'
 

Christmas by the Creek has much to offer holiday shoppers. Young and old can enjoy: Horse-drawn wagon rides downtown, Breakfast with Santa,terrific holiday sales in our warm and inviting shops and the Market by the Creek will highlight the Annual Holiday Open House. Lodi's downtown will be decked out with charming yuletide greens, lights and music for the perfect holiday atmosphere. Decorate cookies with Mrs. Santa Claus, shop the lefsa and bake sales, and take in a Cinema at the Lodi's Women's Club Public Library at 10 am or at 1 pm. Mark your calendar - Saturday, November 18 Christmas by the Creek!

Saturday evening relax at a wine and beer tasting to be held at the Best Western Countryside Inn on Hwy 60 and I-90 from 6 pm - 9 pm. Proceeds will help the Johnson family. Sunday, attend a church service, have a leisurely breakfast with Santa, and finish your holiday shopping. CATCH THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT IN LODI - Home of Susie the Duck!

Saturday, November 18th is 'Christmas by the Creek' in Lodi. The Lodi Valley Farmers' Market will again offer their 'Holiday Market by the Creek' in the Community Room of the Associated Bank from 9am - 3pm, featuring local artisans, crafters, home-based businesses and other market vendors. Join in the fun and spirit of the season in downtown Lodi at the Holiday Market by the Creek!
